Three Things This January
I’ve only just written my 2019 goals blog post, and now here I am summarising three things from January. But, it was better late than never.
January has been a bit of a slow start for me, and I’m only just beginning to on my feet really. It’s been a little stressful at times, but mostly it’s been a time of enjoying the little things in life which has been very much needed. Work has been busy for me as well. I’ve been learning new things and creating exciting content which I have been really enjoying. It’s been pretty great to be able to work on what I like doing most this year.
I’ve been making time for reading a lot, and have been loving the books that I’ve read so far. I also got some lovely books over Christmas & my birthday which I am looking forward to diving into at some point as well.
It was my 24th birthday! I honestly cannot believe that I am now 24 years old. I still feel 21. When I’m doing ‘adulting’ things, I always feel like I’m not quite qualified for this and there definitely should be somebody older and more responsible than me, to do whatever needs doing. I guess maybe we all feel like that at some point, like we don’t really know what we’re doing.
I did have a really lovely birthday though and it was spent with family which is what I always love to do! Next year is the big 25, which sounds a little crazy to me but it’ll be here before I know it, I’m sure!
January included a lovely little break to Oxford for my birthday, which was the best. I am hoping to get a blog post up on this soon as I really loved the city and cannot wait to share all about it. I absolutely love buildings as well, and Oxford city was full of beautiful and historic ones that I loved to photograph. Watch this space…
For my birthday, I got a super duper planner from my sister, Lily. She loved it so much, she even got one for herself as well! I’ve never had a planner like this one before, and I’ve loved using it and jotting down bits for each week. It’s helped me pull up my organising socks to make sure that I am working towards my goals every week, and that’s pretty great.
