Favourite Moments Of Last Year

I’m in a bit of a reflective mood and thought it’d be a nice idea to look back at last year and share what my favourite moments were. I kept a memory jar which I put any and every good memory into, and am doing the same this year (except in a bigger jar, and I'm determined to fill it). Below are my fave ones so I really hope that you enjoy reading a bit about my year and if you have a favourite moment of your own from last year, please feel free to share as I'd to know.

Me and Matt spent a weekend in Bath at the beginning of January for my birthday. I can’t even begin to express how beautiful this city is, the buildings and houses I could look at all day long and I can’t wait until the time comes that I get to go back.

There’s so much history there which is really interesting as well.  If you'd like to read about the trip, my favourite posts out of the ones that I wrote are The Royal Crescent, The Roman Baths and Breakfast at The Thoughtful Bread Company Café

At the end of January, my sister Lily went on her first flight as an air hostess! It was so exciting and something she worked hard towards, and in case you were wondering - the first flight was to Miami!

As you guys know, I love being behind the camera so in February I decided to do an online course for Photography which I now have a diploma for. I found the course so interesting and learnt a lot, now it's all about practice, practice, practice!

For my Grandma’s 90th Birthday in April, me and my family had afternoon tea at Chilston Manor which was so lovely. Once that was done, we spent the rest of the day sitting outside in the sunshine with drinks and it was just the best.
This seems like such a simple memory, but it's times like these spent with my family that I remember the most. Getting sun in the UK also seems to be a rare occasion, so it's always nice to make the most of it when we have it as well!

Another April memory, and this one was when myself, Matt and two of our friends went to Thorpe Park for the day. I love rides and this was such a fun day, I’d love to do something like this again this year!

Me and Matt had our little holiday in June last year in Cornwall. We stayed in Falmouth, but visited St Ives, Newquay and St Michaels Mount which were all so lovely.

I’d love to go back and see more of these beautiful places and when the sun is shining because it rained a lot when we were there!

Last year, I flew all by myself to join my family on holiday in Spain. I had an amazing time and it was such a relaxing retreat which was just what I needed! Flying alone was also a huge achievement for me, despite being a nervous wreck but I made it!

For Halloween, me and a few of my family and friends went to Fort Amhurst for a scary evening! It was so much fun and I would definitely recommend going. I think they they change it up every year, so if you’ve been before it would be worth another trip next time too!

Reflecting on last year, I had a few amazing trips which I am so grateful for and am feeling so excited for new memories. This city break was with my sister which was amazing, and I can’t wait to go away with Lily again to a new destination!

Just before Christmas, me and Tez from the Braai Brothers blog went to London for the day and it was jam-packed but fun as always! We just wandered around, snapping away with our cameras which is honestly my favourite thing to do. London is always so beautiful to capture as well.
