Raspberry & Blueberry Smoothie
I always struggle to get fruit into my daily diet, and that's only because I have such a sweet tooth for all the wrong things so I just end up eating those instead. Although I am so much better than I used to be, it's a work in progress!
However, smoothies seem to do the trick for me because you can get lots of different portions of fruit into one drink! It really couldn't be easier and that's what I love about it.
Raspberry flavour is always my favourite when it comes to smoothies, yoghurts and things like that so I pretty much always go for this combination and make sure that there's lots of them in there!
So if you'd like to see how I whip up this super delicious smoothie, just keep reading!
- Handful of frozen or fresh raspberries
- Handful of frozen or fresh blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 small glass of plain yoghurt
- 1/2 small glass of orange or berry juice
- A few ice cubes
It really is as simple as putting all of the above ingredients into a blender and blend, blend, blending!
I use the Breville Blend Active Blender - see here. It's so easy to use because you put all of the ingredients into the bottle and then when it's all blended, you just change the blade to the lid and you're all ready to go about your day.
I'd really like to try out new smoothie recipes, but at the moment I'm super happy with my raspberry and blueberry combo so it may not be any time soon. I hope you enjoyed this post and are also enjoying your day!
