Spring Plans

The clocks have gone forward this Easter weekend, and this always makes me feel like it is officially Spring time.

Especially as we have been quite lucky with bright spells on sunshine on Friday and Monday. Although Saturday night and Sunday morning were pretty awful as we got the edge of Storm Katie, the wind was so loud that I didn't get much sleep at all, and we woke up to a few broken fence panels!

But that aside, the sun was back on Monday which uplifted my mood and got me thinking about my plans for Spring. So I though that I would share these thoughts with you.

When the sun gets brighter and the weather gets warmer, I feel so much more motivated to eat healthier. When it's cold outside, all I want to do is snuggle on the sofa with a pack of biscuits and watch TV - but no longer! I want to start eating more fruit and veg, I can't explain it but eating better like this always makes me feel so much more fresh. Anyone else get this?

So I've been noting down loads of yummy recipes that I've seen on blogs that I definitely want to give a go!

I want to start doing a lot more with my weekends. Even if it's just going to the seaside for some fish & chips and maybe the arcades, or taking a trip to a coffee shop for a good old catch up with my best friend.

It's these little things in life that I actually really love doing and they make me super happy, so I must start doing more of it!

Spring Clean

Yes, the classic spring clean! It's got to the point where the house needs a good and thorough scrub, and maybe a few touch ups here and there. I want to get a few nice home decor bits to make the house feel more like Spring which I'll probably buy next month. If anyone has any recommendations of a website that sells super nice things, that would be great!

When the weather does get a bit warmer, the garden also needs a bit of a tidy... & I'll have to get back into the habit of watering the flowers, which I'm terrible for!

I want to really focus on myself and building my confidence this year, starting now. I'm such a quiet person and can be quite shy when it comes to new people or new things, and I really want to start tackling that.

I want to be a lot more confident in myself, so I can wear what I want to wear and post what I want to post on my blog. I also really want to dabble in YouTube because I love it so, so much and think I would really enjoy it. But to be able to sit down and talk to the camera absolutely frightens me, I seriously admire people who do it because it does take a lot of confidence in yourself. Maybe one day!

I used to be super organised when it came to work, meals, house work, and my time which I like to use to relax or do some things for my blog.

I used to use notebooks and planners allllll the time, but for the past few months I seem to have tucked them away in my bedside cabinet and forgotten about them. So I need to get them back out and get myself organised again, so I can be more productive and achieve more out of every single day.

I read a quote on Instagram earlier that said "Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand - and melting like a snowflake."

And this is what has got me thinking about organisation and making the most out of every day, because the only time is now.
