23 Things For 23 Years
I have just recently turned 23 and as does most life events, gets me thinking a lot about where I've been, where I am now and where I want to be. This needs to be the year for me, and I have to make it so.
I have a lot of self-help and motivational books that I'd like to read and I'm hoping that this will help me a serious amount as I go about this new year and my new age! A few on my list to read are 'Ice Cream For Breakfast', 'Daring Greatly' and 'Little Black Book' but there's plenty more where that came from.
I also really want to make more time for what I really love to do, instead of lazing around like a sloth in my spare time and waiting for life to come to me. I'd actually quite like to put together a little list of places that I could potentially visit this year. If you have any recommendations for in the UK, please do let me know!
When you're not okay, that's okay...
Those people that are important to you, keep them close.
Keep looking at the small things in life.
You need to vary your diet more, now is a good time to start...
Stop comparing your life with others.
Carry on staying away from social media if it's not productive, sometimes it does you no good.
Last year, you took some very positive steps. Keep doing that.
Let's face it, you're never going to stop munching on chocolate.
Notice who is kind to you, and who is not.
Keep reading, it's one of your fave things to do.
Listen to music more often, it helps!
Make more effort.
Sometimes it's better to keep yourself to yourself, other times it's not.
You really need to knuckle down with your savings now.
Try and socialise more.
Keep working hard, you're doing alright you know!
Travelling is life.
Grow in confidence.
Invest time into your goals that you'd like to achieve.
If you want to do something, really try to do it.
Don't be afraid to be yourself.
Embrace your silly side.
Try to focus on "now" more, than constantly thinking ahead and into the future.
I did one of these blog posts for my 22nd birthday last year so if you fancy checking that one out as well, please do! Other than that, have a lovely day!
