Product Empties #1

The time has come for a product empties post!

I have been saving products that I've used up for a little while now, and I've now gathered enough to create a blog post all about them. Spoiler, all of these products I actually really liked however some I would repurchase, and some I wouldn't. But you'll find out all about that below, enjoy!

AVEDA RADIANT SKIN REFINER

aveda-face-scrub.jpg

I have used many face scrubs in my time, and this one is by far my favourite that I've tried. It comes with a big price tag IMO but it lasted me forever! When using this product, you really don’t need to use a lot at all and only a couple of times a week as well as recommended on the packaging.

I also always saw a noticeable difference after each use as well which I think is pretty amazing. If my skin has come up with a few spots, this seemed to really help with that and scrub away any dirt/impurities and leaving my skin really clean which is always a good thing when avoiding blemishes.

When using the scrub, it feels really rough which shocked me when I first used it and I half-expected my face to be bright red when I finished, but it honestly wasn't and was just silky smooth which is always a nice thing.

BOTANICS TONING SPRITZ

Does anyone else really enjoy using spray products? The last two toners that I have used have been sprays (including this one) and they were so good! I love that the product just sinks into your skin and leaves it feeling suuuper refreshed.

This particular one lasted me a really long time, even with using it twice a day. I'm pretty sure I didn't need to spray as much as I did each time as well, but I love it.

I'm not sure what toner I'm going to pick up next, I'm thinking I might have a browse through the online shops like cult beauty and feel unique to see what everybody else is loving. But if you have any recommendations, please do send them my way!

BOTANICS HYDRATING DAY CREAM

I loooved this day cream, but it actually took me a little while to love it! At first, my skin just didn’t agree with it and it seemed to bring me up with quite a few spots, but that passed and just seemed to really take to it. I used this all through winter, and didn’t really suffer with dry skin so that’s a win for me! Also, I have tried this green one and also the pink one, and for me this green one is definitely my favourite moisturiser out of the two.

LIZ EARLE ROSEMARY & ROCK ROSE BOTANICAL BODY WASH

liz-earle-shower-gel.jpg

Probably the most luxurious shower gel that I have ever owned or used, and it was suuuper nice. Genuinely, if I had tons of spare pennies a month, I think I would pick this up again. But truth be told, I don’t and I couldn’t justify spending this much on a shower gel. Although, it would make a lovely gift for somebody as it can come in a gift set, which includes this shower gel and the moisturiser to match, if you needed any ideas that is.

It's really fresh and always left me feeling sparkling clean afterwards, and the smell was pretty divine too.

This is the first Liz Earle product that I’ve used and it is meant to be an amazing range for skincare. I have very good first impressions and would absolutely love to try more.

If you have any recommendations at all from the Liz Earle range, please do send them my way as I am needing quite a few new skincare bits soon!

YOURGOODSKIN PORE MINIMIZING TONIC & BALANCING SKIN CONCENTRATE

Some definite repurchases will be made with these products right here.

I had never heard of this brand before, but I came to try it because they were actually sent to me accidentally. I got to keep them, which was amazing and of course tried them out as well!

The tonic is my favourite toner that I have tried that’s not in spray form, & it was literally so good. This, and the skin concentrate suited my skin so well and really made a difference. My skin was smoother and brighter, and I can’t wait to be using these again. If you haven’t tried this products, or even this brand yet, its definitely worth a go as I had such a good experience with mine and can't wait to try out more from the range as well.

AVEDA STRESS-FIX SOAKING SALTS

aveda-lavender-bath-salts.jpg

These stress-fix soaking salts by Aveda, I have gone through two pots of! They honestly are so good that they could actually send me to sleep. When using it, I have to make sure that I don't use too much of them otherwise I would have been heading off to bed straight after my bath hehe, but that's not always a bad thing right.

This is a perfect product when you want to have the most relaxing bath ever, and I really like to pair it with a bath oil. Ones that I have been using are the aveda stress-fix oil and the aveda shampure composition oil - both very nice.
