Here we are - new month, new year! It's been a strange start to the year I must admit, and I feel like I should be feeling way more motivated than I actually do. I'm hoping my mood will perk up soon so I can get writing my blog posts for this month.
Onto a more positive note, I had such a lovely Christmas with family and friends - I didn't want it to end! It was full of films, games, relaxing and lots of chocolate. Now Christmas is over it's also nearly my birthday, I'm turning 23 and I'm actually pretty excited about that.
PLAN & ORGANISE
This one was bound to be here, but that's what the first month of the year is all about right?! I got a few new notebooks and a journal for Christmas which I've already started using to help me get on top of my plans and my life.
READ 3 BOOKS
On Goodreads, I've set myself up on the reading challenge to read 30 books this year, which is 2 and a half each month. I've got so many books on my 'to read' list and I really want to make a dent on that this year, so I really wanna try to read 3 books this month and see how I get on with that.
It doesn't seem a lot when I say it, but as much as I wish I had all the time in the world to read - I sadly don't.
CREATE MORE TIME FOR MINDFULNESS
Last year, I dabbed in meditating, a bit of yoga and essential oils. I also used to journal nearly every day for a little while, but that was another one of those things that just seemed to stop. I'd like to make a point of taking time out most days and doing something mindful.
