Desk Tour

I am here today with a desk tour, wwoo! This space is still sort of quite new in our home but has settled nicely into our lounge and fits in well with the rest of our decor.

We were on the hunt for a desk for ages but couldn't find the right one at the right price. We ended up purchasing this one on eBay because it was affordable and is just what we want for the moment.

Anyway, let's get on with the tour of what's on my little desk!

The Kilner jar that you can see in the corner is something that I spoke about on my Instagram at the beginning of this year. Every time I have a happy memory, I write it down, fold it up and pop it in this jar. So at the end of this year, I can open it up and see all of my memories that I may have forgotten about otherwise.

And the lantern that you can see on the right is from Next, which I think is just so beautiful. Beth bought this for me for my 21st birthday and I was struggling to find a place for it, but I'm really liking having it by side of the desk.

This lamp I picked up from TK Maxx and I think we paid about £25 for this, which is a bargain! I fell in love with the colour of it and it was just what I was looking for. And this little quote in a wooden frame was a steal from The Range, it was about £3 which is pretty incredible.

I love to have books and notepads by me at all times. I actually have a ton more notebooks in the drawer which I use as well, but this one that you can see at the top is just for doodling and had a little feature in my March Goals blog post if you fancy checking that out.

I'm reading 'Capture Your Style' by Aimee Song and 'The Little Book of Hygge' by Meik Wiking. I am in love with the Hygge book, I'm finding it so interesting to read and can't put it down but also I don't want to finish the book!

Also, I am currently using a book as a mouse pad, because I haven't got round to finding a proper one yet but it does the job! If you know anywhere that sells super nice ones, please let me know in the comments, thank you!

Thank you for reading & I hope that you have a great start to the week. x
