My Make Up Storage

I have just recently changed the furniture that was in my spare room, that was wooden and starting to look a little old to something a bit more modern. It is a very small room and I knew that I wanted more storage, and this Ikea Malm chest of 6 drawers was perfect, and just fits! And on the other side of the room, we got a mirrored wardrobe from Very and this really opens and brightens up the room which is exactly what I wanted.

One of the drawers from the Malm set is what I use for my make up. I don't think that I have that much make up at all, but I love to have it all spread out so I can see everything that I have.

I hope you enjoy!

It's all seperated into different sections like face, eyes, lips, brows, nails, palettes, creams, etc. I have had the white plastic trays and the plastic baskets for years now. So I am looking at possibly getting some acrylic storage at some point which I think would look super nice and not to mention even more organised.

To add to this make up storage post, I thought I would show you what my favourite products are at the moment.

The Too Faced Born This Way foundation is my most recent make up purchase, and I really love it. It is super easy to apply and blends really easily, as well as having about a medium coverage and I also bought this in the shade Ivory.

The Benefit Watts Up Highligher I have had for years now, and I still love it just as much now as I did when I bought it (a lot). I love using the application sponge as it makes this really easy to apply and I love the shimmer this gives as well. This is one of my current favourite beauty products because I went through a stage of not wearing any highlighter at all, and now I've fallen back in love with it all over again.

I find that I am always reaching for my Maybelline Nude Eye Shadow Palette at the moment, as I'm definitely a nude kinda gal and all of these colours are super easy to wear with your day-to-day make up.

It's still winter time, and I am still loving neutral/brown lipsticks - especially this Mac lipstick in the shade 'Velvet Teddy'. It is matte so it lasts really well and goes with any eyeshadow colour that you're wearing so is also really usable.

I really hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I did writing it!
